The most substantial changes to every new Maserati vehicle this year come from renaming and reworking the trim levels of each vehicle. In previous years, the trim levels for each vehicle were slightly convoluted, with each model having its own lineup of trim levels based on many different factors.

This year, each vehicle's trim levels are simplified. The base model now goes by the GT in each new Maserati vehicle. The second trim level in the lineup is now the Modena, with the following trim level usually going by the Modena S, and the top of the lineup and sportiest trim level always being the Trofeo model. You'll also see multiple Maserati vehicles with a Modena Q4 trim level, which indicates that all-wheel drive comes standard on that model. This makes it much easier for drivers to differentiate each model from the other and choose the one that offers the features, performance, and styling that they want the most.
